What can Virginia Department of Veterans Services do to Help?
- Provide care coordination for needed services.
- Conduct individualized assessments.
- Connect you with community resources.
- Partner with the Federal Veterans Affairs's Supportive Services for Veteran Families.
- Provide referrals to the Federal Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing program.
- Offer support groups and peer support.

Crisis/Homeless Assistance
If you are homeless or in a housing crisis, Virginia has 16 organizations throughout the state, called Continuums of Care (CoCs), which are designed to help move you to stable housing, return you to maximum self-sufficiency, and prevent a return to homelessness. You may access these services through any of the CoCs listed in the directory linked below.

Veterans Administration Counselors are available 24/7 to help veterans experiencing housing insecurity or homelessness. Call 1-877-424-3838 (1-877-4AID-VET) or dial 211 Virginia, available 24/7 (resources for Veterans in need and service providers).
